Grumpy Sailor is James Boyce. He is a founding father of Dog Money World and a works as Copywriter at the Agency SHIFT, he also moonlights as creative gun for hire as the grumpy sailor.
James is a thinker, an inventor and a creator.
What is at the heart of Grumpy Sailor is a buring desrire to enjoy technology as a facilitator of human interaction not at the expense of human interaction.
James loves comic books, videos of people hurting themselves, dance floors at weddings, playing rugby, babies eating bugs, laughing loudly and wet tea towel fights.
Even if James started working on all things he wants to create right now there wouldn’t be enough time in his lifetime to create them all. They include but are not limited to a console video game, a feature film about brothers going to war, a zombie TV series with accompanying graphic novel, a tilt shift short film, a comedy TV series, an online catalogue of the ways in which humans like to play, the worlds first user controlled narrative, a cross-platform childrens project that encourages animal conservation and also develop a way for people to easily make fleeting digital moments last for ever.
James is currently trying to work out how to mash together his two favourite things; woodwork and computers. He is struggling.
